I am passionate about teaching information, and have tutored between and during my BA, working with individual pupils and the UCL academy.

Efficient lessons should be personalised around students’ individual needs, strengths, abilities and weaknesses and I find being able to increase a student’s academic confidence so they surpass their expectations tutees immensely rewarding! I have the tutoring standards assessment qualification and I tutor French, English, Italian and Maths at GCSE level and KS1 and KS2 levels, with an additional 2 years’ experience of intensive private tutoring in English, French and Maths with a pupil who went on to integrate his school of choice at a much higher level than predicted!

While at UCL my part-time job at The Grant Museum of Zoology also enabled me to work with classes and individual pupils making lessons around zoological concepts engaging.

I often combine my skills as an illustrator and my Masters at UAL in visual communication with my teaching skills because I find presenting complicated linguistic or mathematical concepts visually often helps pupils’ ability to understand while staying actively engaged in a lesson. Eventually I would like to tutor full-time.
