I have been in education in England for the past 12 years. I started as a French language assistant for French A levels (10 years) at The Coopers Company and Coborn School and as a private tutor in French for all levels (KS3, GCSE, A level, adult)
I graduated as a teacher in 2019 (QTS and PGCE) and have been teaching in two schools at KS3, GCSE level and A level.
Before my experience in education, I graduated with a Master in Economics in Belgium and worked in Finance.
I currently tutor several students at all levels (primary, KS3, GCSE, A level, adult). When tutoring, I always prepare and tailor my lessons to the learner`s unique objectives and needs, starting at each person`s level. I am very caring and approachable (with a touch of humour) and will always aim at developing the learner`s confidence. I am convinced that if the learner feels confident, comfortable and relaxed, learning will be at its best.
This approach and my thorough subject knowledge helped boosting several of my students` grades (GCSE and A level). I know the requirements of AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas exam boards and have a wide range of resources, activities, games to cater for various learning styles and to develop all skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
